Blog!
A small insight into the life and loves of Me.
... if you're here, you should be informed that I don't use this thing any more.
I've just spent two days (8:30 till 5:30!) giving out NUS cards to students as part of my exec. duties with the union!
Had a REALLY good birthday!!
It is now 21 days until my 19th birthday, my last as a 'teen' :)
After being together for over a year, Ellie has decided that she no longer wishes to be with me.
The weather down here is absolutely sweltering at the moment, I can't even skate from El's to the station without getting absolutely drenched!!!! Yawn!

Yep, my camera went and died on me!
I put the battery back in after charging, switched on, the lens started to come out and then stopped and started making wrenching noises, it stopped after a while and bought up a thing that said E18. After a few tries, I managed to get it to switch back on normally, only now the focus at depth is completely screwed-up, I can focus up to about 15cm, but after that the imaged is really fuzzy and blurred...Went into the camera shop and asked them, and they said they couldn't do anything about it and probably one of the elements had slipped out of allignment.
Friday, I rushed into Exeter and went to Jessops to get a replacement.
I don't get paid till friday next, so had to get it on store credit (which is a problem in itself for a lowly student) anyway, after lots of sitting around waiting to see if they'd approve my credit, they finally did! The store guy thought it was on account of them thinking I wouldn't be able to pay them back, anyhoo, I now have £399.99 to pay back by 2006 (Though I'll actually be paying it back over the next two months, thanks alot 'Interest Free Credit')
So now I've got my lovely new matte-black Canon Powershot S70...mmmm 7mpx... mmmmm... 28mm wideangle... doh... 32mb mem card (I'll be ebaying for a 1gb when I get paid!)

Buzznet is finally unfiltered on college computers...
No more 30 mins maximum at the library every day...
No more time limits...
Yay!!!
Finally got a reply from the college saying:
Just been to the hair dresser to have a trim...

As some of you may know, and many of you may not, I've been running for Communications and Publication Officer for ECSU (Exeter College Student Union).
It's a good day because:
Me and mum headed up to PCWORLD on saturday and picked up a nice new printer to replace the old one (which had stopped printing black)...

Went to Exeter University to see Lynne Truss (Acclaimed author of the multi-milion selling book, Eats, Shots and Leaves) give a talk.
Just had to do my AS Communication presentation. 15 minutes of hell...
My new video (Round-About) ,which is a 1:18 edit showing several spots in both Exmouth and Exeter will be released tomorrow (providing I can move it from my computer).
The article I submitted (see: Darwin In A Download post) to the Exeter Flying Post has been printed in the March edition.
Sitting around in the ITLC trying to find stuff about the Conservative Party for a prophaganda project (El: Did you have to do one of these?)...
Bloody Pockets... Bloody Trains...
The oppressive, totalitarianists that run the college filtering have now blocked what seems like half the internet. I can no longer access BuzzNet from college, or half of the forums that I freqent. How can it be that in this age of digital enlightmenment and freedom of expression, that the establishment can block our access to these resources!
